BLOOPER!

Here’s a really short and sweet video of The Sheepdogs before their show in Toronto for the Canadian Club Mixed & Ready event. These guys are hilarious, and really laid back. Everyone makes mistakes like this in “the biz” and we’re just glad these guys are humble enough to still have a good laugh.

Check out [this link] for a full review of the show!

The Sheepdogs in Toronto, before their show at Echo Beach.

Canadian Club Mixed & Ready brought together some of the greatest bands currently in Canadian rock at Echo Beach in Toronto. The night started with Zeus, The Sadies and Yukon Blonde, and finishing up the night we heard from the headliners, The Sheepdogs. Definitely a memorable night that did not disappoint.

We often get approached by bands and artists sending us their music, looking for support or just someone to listen. There are so many talented and undiscovered bands in Canada right now that it’s a little crazy when you think about it! When we can, we’ll share smaller causes, undiscovered bands and share new music with some of the other BestFans out there, because we know just how hard it is to be seen out there.

But guess what! We see you and so does Canadian Club! We don’t often team up with brands out there, but we thought this was the perfect opportunity for some of our fans, followers and friends out there that are just trying to be heard in this world, to finally get what they deserve! Read more about the contest and how to enter [here].

The news about split of the Canadian post-hardcore rock band Alexisonfire came out of nowhere when the band made the official announcement sometime in August 2011. The sudden news didn’t give fans an opportunity to say farewell as the band just broke apart and simply slipped into the background. However, according to Dallas Green (of both Alexisonfire and City and Colour) voiced the band’s desire for a proper farewell. [read more here…]
